Selena Gomez spent yesterday in the press for Rare Beauty in New York and she and her stylist Kate Young gathered the perfect cozy-chic autumn outfit for the occasion. Gomez was photographed wearing a Balmain navy coat and a striped sweater dress in Sephora, Times Square, where she posed with her makeup line. She complemented it with a Miu Miu bag, Jennifer Fisher jewelry and boots.
Gomez speaks with WWD’s Beauty Inc last month for her dream of one day opening her own Rare Beauty store. “I mean, that would be the highest of high dreams,” Gomez said. “I would like it to stand alone and be that. I think for now I’m really happy with where we are and I want to stay where we are for a while, and then I think that ideally I wouldn’t want anything more than to see how it goes beyond beauty. ”
Gomez also drew attention to the biggest lesson she learned in her twenties as she approached her 30th birthday the following July. “I feel good that I finally don’t care as much as I do,” she said. “I think how many years I wasted to be so interested in what people think, and it was just suffocating. And I think I wasted time on that. What I like about aging so far is that I’m just starting to be really happy with who I am, I know what I want and I know what I don’t want. ”
When she turned 30, she added: “I like to grow old. I love living life, I love learning and developing, traveling and meeting amazing people. Yes, I’m excited. “
