YouTuber Scott Manley leads us the story of Spinlaunch, a company that plans to send rockets into space by rotating them.

“I was talking about Spinlaunch a few years ago, they wanted to reduce the cost of launching into space by ejecting launch vehicles from a rotating hypersonic launcher. “I was somewhat skeptical about the chances of solving the engineering problems inherent in this, but recently they demonstrated a Mach 1 launch using their 1/3 scale launcher, so they are already making progress in developing a viable launch system,” he said.
