One of the great complaint users received Google’s Pixel 6 fingerprint scanner. Many users have complained about the slowness and how they sometimes can’t see their fingers. Google first tried to prove it by saying it was caused by high security algorithms.
If you’ve been worried that it means Google won’t do anything about it, you can pause because it looks like Google recently pushed out an update for the Pixel 6 that should resolve the issue.
According to Google, “The current update improves the performance of your device’s fingerprint scanner.” We don’t have the Pixel 6 or the Pixel 6 Pro so we can’t talk about how well the upgrade has improved the fingerprint scanner, but we think it’s something more than what it was. have it first (unless the update itself is invoked.).
Users with a Pixel 6 or Pixel 6 Pro, can try manually dragging the update if you haven’t received the notification. You can go to Phone Settings> Settings> Availability> System Update and see if the update is available for you to download. It’s a shame that such a routine causes a lot of problems with something else that is very good and handy, hopefully this update will improve the issue for the better.
